Don't know why there were so many incidents happened in QMC today.
A life around me could just disappeared from the world like this, just in 1 second, just when we were talking and working as normal, just when the earth was turning as normal, a life'd gone, just like this, without disturbing any other things on the earth......
An old lady, being sent out of the ward, going to undergo a big operation, people sending her out with all kinda wishes, 'good luck', 'all the best' etc, and she took all the wishes with great, calming smile, added on with some hidden anxiety and fear.....what will happen in the next couple of hours? Will she be still sharing the oxygen on the earth with us? No one could tell!
We were given chance to interview a lady in the ward, who has had diabetes for 18 years and had just undergone foot amputation surgery. The thing that triggered my tear glands wasn't her misfortune but her optimism!
Had also come across some patients' medical records whose health conditions are really terrible and have to take about 20 types of medicines every day!
或许对躺在病床上的他们而言，除了健康体魄以外的东西，都是奢侈品！
而我们，不仅拥有必需品，还有很多很多的奢侈品，在他们眼中如此富裕的我们，却总是不停地抱怨自己拥有的太少，不停地追求一大堆没完没了的物质需求，不停地争夺所谓的权力和地位！
这让我联想到最近看到的几则新闻。
有些犯了错杀了人的，竟没有得到严惩，始终逍遥法外，只因为权和势都在他们那边，所以“公正” 也自然在他们那边！
有人或许什么也没做过，却一次次无故受到惩罚，只因为他的出现威胁到了某方的权力和地位！
一宗牵涉上百条人命的意外，表面上全世界都在为他们担忧，很努力地祈祷和营救；实际上受害者的安危好像并非主要，这也只不过是他们用来争权夺利的一个道具！
这可爱的世界 有时候 也很可笑！
